I don't know what happened but these days Crysis really lagged alot than before. I just checked Gpu-z for the first time of my life and it say 1650mhz shader!!!!! OMG what has happened? Was I using faulty card the whole time or what..? My memory and core clocks are XXX ALPHA DOG clocks (670,975)but the shader is supposed to be 1950mhz isn't it???? I overclocked my cpu to 3.4ghz but I don't think that causes problems. Maybe It does. I really want my 1.95ghz shader... Please help me. I hope its not a faulty card. Let it please be bios.

----------edit------------
my cpu is core2duo E6750 2.66ghz. Overclocked it to 3.4, 8*425 Frequency.

Have you tried using riva tuner to set it back to the value you want? Or the nVidia nTune utility? Just set it back to 1950 MHz and see if it stays there.

i was trying that but then for a safe shader overclock... I need to make core clock go up together. Which means auto adjust is good but at the same time it will overclock 670mhz core clock to like 790. I think thats really unstable but I would like to hear what you would say about that.

-----------edit---------------------
setting upto 1950 gives me just plain stop in Crysis. Dang... I wonder if I got ripped off...

Oh my.. I might have been just freaking out of nothing.

GPU Clock 670 MHz
Memory Bus 256-bit
Memory Type DDR3
Memory Size 512MB
Memory Speed 1.95 GHz ---- ummm 1.95 and 1650 different stuff?
Shader clock 1650

I still don't get whats going on.... What about all these lags on Crysis all of a sudden.. Hmmm

Check you machine for Spyware. It could be slowing you down.

Also check your temps on that card. I'm also wondering if this couldn't be a Vista issue. Are you using Vista and is it updated with all the hot-fixes and whatnot?

temperature is good. Its always 46idle and reach 50's in load. Umm.. I use Xp Pro 32bit and Vista 64bit with dualbooting. I think both of them are updated.
This thing I found from a web says gpu clock 670mhz, memory speed 1.95ghz, shader clock 1650,
Is this a typo?? I thought memory speed is 975 (memory clock). Maybe I'm getting confused with the shader clock and memory speed?

GPU Clock 670 MHz
Memory Bus 256-bit
Memory Type DDR3
Memory Size 512MB
Memory Speed 1.95 GHz ---- ummm 1.95 and 1650 different stuff?
Shader clock 1650

Memory clock is 975, but its DDR2 (double data rate) so its effective speed is 975 x2 which is 1950mHz.

so.. there is nothing wrong with the shader? Or... Is the shader supposed to be 1650??
