My 8800gts XXX died about 3 weeks ago, and ive been corresponding with support via the ticket system since. Since theyve found out i bought card from ebay via a seller in the US (since it was cheaper for me) theyve stopped talking to me and i have no idea what i can do now. Im severly frustrated as i see there is no reason why i cant get the same support as someone who bought it from a retailer. i paid some 500 dollars for something that lasted 3 months. id be really happy if a mod could respond to this...

You have no warranty since you are not the original purchaser. Double Lifetime Warranty only applies to USA residents and the card must stay in the USA to have the warranty stay in effect.

fine even then how do i go about sending my card back for repairs even if i wanted to pay for it myself? its got to be cheaper than buying another $500 card?

I will ask Shannon to look into this. He does not work on the weekend so I can not promise he responds over it.

Not totally sure on the Ebay outside of North America sales, but I will see what can be done. Is is possible to return it to him so he can RMA the video card then send the replacement to you? Let me see what can be done.

That would be much appreciated..... Persoanlly id understand that all the cards are sold out of the US and therfore whether i bought it from a retailer here or from and etailer on ebay i should still be covered by a warranty within Australia. If i bought it when living within the US would i be covered?
