Finally i was going to make my new system with an XFX 8800 Ultra in it.
This was mounted onto an EK Acetal block for water cooling and ran stable for 3 weeks.
Suddenly one day when i was just chatting in windows the screen started artifacting like crazy and froze, BSOD and reboot.
Upon reboot it was still artifacting all over, and now only able to boot into failsafe mode.
I can provide pictures and videos of the whole deal in case that would be of interest, my question is, what do i do now? The warranty is voided because it was watercooled or?
Btw i am an EU resident

From what I understand about XFX cards, they are modder friendly. You can still RMA the card as long as you put the original heatsink and fan back on it.

Btw these are the specs of the build:
Intel QX9650 Core 2 Extreme 3 gHz
XFX 8800 Ultra
Asus p5k-deluxe
2gb Crucial Ballistix Pc-8500 DDR2
Enermax Galaxy 1000W PSU

Being that you are in EU you do not have the modder friendly warranty, no way to get it replaced. You need to buy a new card. :-/
Look at the BFG Tech watercooled ultras.

Put the video card back to stock condition and make a support ticket at www.xfxforce.com. Let me know the ticket number and I can team with the Europe team to see what can be done.

This is why I love XFX. Of course, I don't currently run anything XFX cause evga was all they had at the local shop.

This is my first defective hardware ever, i've previously spilled water on Asus motherboards and they've withstood punishment like nothing else
To be fair on XFX though i'm gonna call this bad luck :>, the products seem good quality and the performance is awesome, the fact that this goodwill is shown counts for an awful lot too

As computers get faster and smaller they fail more.

The dealer contacted me today with the message that the pins on the card have a slight discolourations and they will not be replacing it saying that i've damaged it.
Aha - So how do they suppose i should have done that`?
