Actually if you think about it I am sponsoring them all. I do pay for the products. I normally sell my ads for money but with these two vendors I give them ads the give me hardware to giveaway.

It is starting to pay off though.
Scott has now a pretty solid member base on bjorn3d and many new members are slowly coming in which is great.
More and more sponsors are also noticing the growing number of users and the popularity of bjorn which is a great thing :)

Yeah the activity is/was Bj3d's plus point always.There are maybe other forums with more members but they don't always enjoy a constant activity on all over the forum. :) When i've joied here 1 year back,there were 3500+ members i think.Now we are gonna toch 10000 pretty soon. :) And obviously more active members means more & more growth of Bj3d which will not-surprisingly attract more & more spnsors. :) Off course the authority also signing-up with more spnsors to give more people a reason to smile. :)

Yes but you can always get some new active members out of these newly joined members also.I can name a few new members who most probably will stick around & will be added to the list of our new active members.With more & more people joining, the chances of having new active members automatically gets increased. :)

I really do not like the users that are active only during the contest period,like sushrukh says.On certain sites,when a contest is organised,a lot of new members sign up,talk,and after the contest is over,BOOM,the forum is COMPLETELY dead.I guess those users are in only to win something,and not to talk to the other users and share interesting information :(

Usualy those kind of forums are actually responsible for their loss.
I've been part of those kind of stupid forums where you stay for like 6 months, to never win anything seeing some random people win over and over without ever coming back and then you start wondering... are those fake contests ?
I think any intelligent forums usualy makes its loyal members win, with a random member every once in a while.
I'm not sure if you get what I mean but if I were a forum owner and I would see this guy being on the forums for the last year, never make him win or something picking random people I never seen before and that they dont come back then i'm the dumb&** in all that.
Thats usualy the way you see how a forum is bound to fail or prevail.
