Who else got a 780i? Are there any out there?

I purchased my Xfx 780i the day after boxing day. There wasn't many in the store (I think around 15) and this is from the UK's best retailer for the last 4 years running. I don't think they have had any in since either, I have checked other computer stores I regular and it's all the same story apart from the Asus boards. The Xfx and Evga are virtually non-existent, well in the UK anyway. My mate has an Evga 680i and is on the step-up program, he has been on number 200 something for ages. Tonight he told me his number has finally gone down to 90 something so there must be a batch coming or people are finally getting their upgrades. How many of you have managed to get hold of a 780i? Have they really been that hard to get hold of? If so I wonder why?

I wasn't even planning to buy one, I had just gotten a 680i LT 3 weeks prior. But, walked into the local shop for some memory. They were out of the memory I wanted but had the 780i, so I went for that. :grin:

Supply can't keep up with the demand meaning nVidia never made enough.

I've got one and could buy another if i wanted. I always see atleast one or two in stock at the place i go to get my pc parts.
