I just finished building my PC, and when I power it up, all of the fans turn on, I get the 3 led lights, and the FF code, but I don't see anything on my monitor.I also see a red led near the cpu fan.I have tried everything, but no avail.I have a nforce 780i Sli.Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advanced.

Is the monitor connected to the video card?
Do you hear any beeps?

My monitor is connected to my graphics card, and I don't hear any beeps.

Something is not right as like the 680i, the "FF" means everything is fine but in your case sometihing is obivously wrong and I am surprised there aren't any beeps.
I don't really know what the red LED signifies
Do you have the 8-pin connector plugged in on the left side of the CPU socket?
Reconnect all the cables connected to the motherboard.

I agree with the above. Recheck the connections, remove and reattach the 24pin power and 8 pin ATX connectors to see if that helps.

I checked the cpu, and all of the power connections, but still nothing. To answer the earlier question, the red led signifies that the cpu is too hot.

Try seating the CPU and make sure you aren't using alot of thermalpaste.
What CPU cooler are you using?

I am using a Intel Core 2 Quad, and I am using the default amount of thermal paste, that they included with the heatsink.

Actually I grabbed a 780i trying to duplicate your problem and was able to get the red led to come on while the read out had "FF" by disconnecting the 8 pin ATX connector. Fans and lights came on but no signal to the monitor. Is it possible to test another PSU in this system? It will also come on if the CPU gets too hot, I tested this by removing the cooler (NOT RECOMMENDED so don't do that saying you remember XFX doing something similar) and the system will boot, image on the screen but the light will come on in just a short while.

One half of the 8 pin connector can fit into both slots, is that a problem, and are you telling me that it sometimes it boots up without the cooler?

You need to use a full 8-pin connector which should fit without any problems unless you are trying to plug in a workstation 8-pin connector which won't fit because the key slot is different.

Well a system can boot up without a CPU cooler attached, but it is a real bad idea to do so. I was just doing a bit of testing to better understand your situation. Oh and yeah it can be bad if the 8 Pin ATX power connector does not fit correctly.

The pins fit, but nothing happens.I read on another forum, a case similar to mine, and the solution was that he put in another 4 pin fan and it worked, any word on that solution?

I have come to the conclusion that the motherboard was dead on arrival, so I have decided to return it.My next question is, what's the best way to get a replacement?Should I send it back to Newegg or to XFX?

If it is within the time frame i would return it to Newegg. Did you ever try changing the PCI slot on your video card?
I was having the same issue (still am) and will have to RMA my board when I have time. Working on thesis right now and can't have amy computer with a few weeks of downtime. My problem gave me a VGA beep on bootup though, and the top PCI slot doesnt work. There goes SLI... the whole point of my getting this motherboard.
