I would love to have Tabs? I know you can do it in Vista, but can you get it in XP? I don't like ExplorerXP either. I want just a Mod, not a new explorer.

Why would you want Windows Explorer to have tabs?

I find myself having like 15 explores open sometimes, and tabs would just clean it up a lot.

Why would you need that many Explorer windows open when you can expand each subdirectory and use the Back and Forward buttons?
Having a tab function in a windows is quite similar to having multiple windows open as the only difference is each window is opened in the same window.
Do you have the taskbar setup so it groups similar windows? That'll help decrease the taskbar from getting cluttered.

Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer?
Not even Vista's Explorer has tabs, that I recall. You may be thinking of some third party utility, such as this one (http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2007/05/26/how-to-have-tabs-in-your-windows-explorer/)?

If you're talking about internet explorer, like the Firefox tabs, download IE7

Explorer, not Internet Explorer. You know, how you look at files. Windows Key + E.
I know there is a Mod in Vista to get Tabs, but the Mag didn't talk about XP, is there a Mod for XP?

The link that Kougar posted should help which talks about a utility called "QTTabBar".

Not sure about tabs in explorer but I would like to see a double window option instead of having multiple explorers open.
I don't see tabs on Explorer though. I see this option in Internet Explorer for sure it's a time saver. For this, I am sure you know you need to upgrade to Version IE7.

Yah, having tabs in Explorer (not IE) would help clean up a lot. Sometimes I find myself having 20+ explorer windows open copying files all over the place and across the network.
Werty, even if the taskbar is set to group windows, it's still a pain to go and find the one that you want. Tabs would be so much easier than this. Plus I use blackbox as my window manager so I can't group the windows anyways.
