I'm thiking of getting the XFX PVT88PYHF4 at newegg and want to know if the internal SPDIF connector will pass audio thru the DVI (using a DVI-to-HDMI cable) to my 42" HDTV?
I have the original 8800GT from XFX but the circuit for the audio is not implemented, just empty spots on the PCBoard. Was waiting to choose a second card for SLI until one was available that has the audio working.
Can anyone confirm or otherwise inform me on this matter?
