I found an interesting article on the subject here (http://lifehacker.com/343095/download-and-listen-to-free-music-on-the-web), which lists a great variety of different websites and methods for doing so. Everything from MP3 search engines to streaming music, internet radio, and online applications for storing your own music are listed. Really quite interesting, even if you don't intend to use any of these methods.
*Note this has nothing to do with P2P, just to be clear.

I don't get why america doesn't have those crazy file sharing web p2p. In korean webs, theres alot of web p2p, where 1 money point equals 10mb of download. so with 100 points, you could download a 1gb file. 100 points is like 10 cents by the way. I downloaded 3d maya, fl studio, reason, and famous etc softwares without wasting money. Also those are actually some companies. Illegal but they say they are providing only the service. People post instructions, screen shots for better confidence in download. I wish u cud find bunch of those in google.

Well in a way we do, though I imagine the reason why those kind of corporate file sharing networks don't exist is because of the average bandwidth speeds here vs. Korea. That obviously has something to do with the size and spread of our population vs. Korea's and the lack of a national fiber optic cable network, but it is equally stymied by organizations like the RIAA who fear that such a large corporate file network would seriously bite into their profits.

Ahh.. I see.. I never thought about Korea being small and having optical networks.
