Does anyone have a 6800 XT and has overclocked it?

Well I got the XFX 6800XT XXX Edition, and before it started to overheat I was able to get it up to 450/1100 but mileage may vary depending on the card. I am probably going to throw a few fans in my case to see if I can cool it enough to overclock again because it helped somewhat in games.

Mine idles at about 55C and load is at 70C but I dont have any fans in my case besides the CPU fan. I am going to put back the 80mm exhaust fans that were there before and see what happens. Just make sure the video card doesnt go over 70C under load.

What are your temps under load? Also if you are in the U.S. and i think XFX covers the 6 series with there over clockers warranty then i would do it. But thats just me.

Is there an over clockers warranty in Canada?

well, the worst that can happen is it burns out and you are out a video card for a few weeks until the RMA process returns one to you.

So my load temp is around 60, core clock 350, mem clock 1000, and the fan is set to 53%.

Be weary though, I believe some AGP 6800xts used a different core than the PCIe version. It really depended on the manufacturer so you might not get an overclock like this.
Although I could get the same overclock as him so you should be able to get to those timings.
Also I am about to say farewell to my mighty 6800xt for the replacement of a 8600gt...
Farewell

I would get a 7950GT 512m not a 8600GT, as the 7950GT will be better unless you need DX10.

I would go 8-series anyway, unless you want a really cheap (inexpensive) card.
Technically they're 'last-series' now. Lucky I stick of even-numbers only anyway.
