I recently bought new hardware

Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD7500AAKS 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
GIGABYTE GA-X38-DS4 LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor Model BX80562Q6600
Microsoft Windows XP Professional With SP2C - OEM
XFX PVT88PYDQ4 GeForce 8800GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe Black SATA Model SH-S203N - OEM
PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 EPS12V EPS12V 610W Continuous @ 40°C Power Supply - Retail
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2RPR800C44GK

Using 169.21 forceware driver

I can play Company of Heros fine as well as normal desktop applications.

When I try and play unreal tournament III demo it will start and stop game play and Crysis demo it will lock up my box.

Also the fan on the graphics card stays at 100%

My Questions are:
Can anyone see incompatiblities with my setup?
Do you think my power supply has enough power? (the case has 3 fans)
What would cause some games to work and others to crash?

Thanks for any help,
Greg

I Returned the video card and go a lesser one. I was thinking it had something to do with the power to the graphics card. With the new card in the computer still has problems. I ran mem test for 30 min and it didnt fail.

Im thinking now its the ram voltage after looking at ocz posts. In the bios i add .3 to the voltage but it doesnt change the value in cpu-z(see below)
if I added .3 votage to the ddr voltage shouldnt show up as 2.1?
Edit: also what are the other two column representing. The recommened mem setting is 4-4-4-15 2T 2.1V

I can play uneal tournament III for about 5 min before it freezes up on me.

any help would be great...
-Greg
