Hello, I am having an issue with my card when i play games. For just about any game, I get different pitch sounds coming from the card. I checked the fan and it isn't that. I believe it is coming from the card itself and I did see some threads about it could being the capacitor or inductors causing the problem. Crysis is the game where the sound is the most apparent (during the intro videos). Other games it is there but softer when compared to Crysis.

I have heard of this before, but not seen it personally. If you are worried about the video card you can have it exchanged at your retailer or later down the road if you have problems you can always RMA it.

I'm told that can happen when your videocard isn't getting enough power supplied to it, as if the card is screaming for more power. What power supply are you using?

I have the same problem with my 8800GTS 512 G92 video card. I used Fraps to see maybe something with FPS, and yes, I found out that in Crysis when there are videos or loadings, you get a higher than 1000FPS. You start hearing the sound once the FPS gets too high. I don't know why. Normally I don't hear it, only in games. I guess I notice it because my computer is silent. Anybody know anything else about the problem?
