Can anyone provide the proper voltage settings for the 780i with these components.
My ram says 2.2 v on it. To I need to increase it in the BIOS if I use 4 total sticks of 1 gb ram running at 1066? They are rated for 1066.
How about the FSB with an Intel Q6600 2.4gz Processor?
Arg, I'm pulling my hair out trying to get a stable Vista 64 system with 4gb ram.

You will need to use the specified voltage at 2.2v for the memory. As for the processor, every chip is different. You will just have to find what works for you. Are you overclocking? If not, you should be able to find a stable voltage under 1.3v for that processor, but again, every chip is different.

I have not over clocked the processor yet. the multiplier is at x9 but it says 2400mhz, which is what it is rated at.
I reset the voltage to Auto for the FSB and Processor and things are ok. The biggest stability increase from adjusting my memory voltage to 2.2v vs auto. No crashes yet with 4gb. This is of course after patching and installing the latest drivers i could and not using the ones on the CD's that came with the hardware.
Fairly sure though that properly adjusting the voltage for the RAM was a good thing. :)
