I have a xfx 780i with qx9650 and 8800gt x2, 4gb Ram.
All stable for about 1 month then....
Started getting BSOD with BUGCODE_USB....
I unhooked all USB devices, and the BSOD still occur randomly.
Then, Vista32 cannot find the onboard MAC (which are enabled in BIOS). They were there one day, then they were gone. I put in a separate Ethernet card, which works fine, but why did they disappear?
I have the BIOS update and I tried re-installing the most recent Forceware drivers, but it still didn't pick up the existence of the onboard MAC.
Then suddenly, I started having another problem...the screen would go black for a second, then reappear...with a window in the right lower corner that said display "driver stopped working but recovered." This would happen several times, then BSOD.
I tried turning off SLI. I tried each video card independently. I tried downloading the newest GT8800 drivers. Still getting this message occasionally and a subsequent inevitable BSOD.
Since I am now having issues with 3 things:
1. The USB drivers/ports
2. The missing onboard MAC
3. Display driver failure
After having a stable system for a month, is this likely a motherboard problem?
HELP!
