Gears of War 2 - Teaser

There is more carnage to be had and it comes in the form Gears of War 2. Just recently a teaser was released to help promote (like it needs help) the squeal to the ultra popular third person shooter. Be warned there is not actual game footage, but it is entertaining none the less.

No word of a PC version yet though. Some speculate there will be a PC release after the 360 release, maybe even with extra content again, but after what Cliffy said about prioritizing AAA console titles anymore I'm not so sure. Personally I thought the extra content was a necessary part of the game.

That trailer seems to hint that the melee system will be more advanced in GoW2 and less scripted. I'm wondering if you can flip the Lancer in different positions like that when tied up in a melee battle and maybe have to tap the melee key to power into it when locked up with an enemy.

The first Gears of War was really incredible, though I didn't get to play it as much as I would have liked. It was hard to imagine how they could have followed up the success of Halo, but they did with this one. I just hope the lives up to it's legacy.
