8600 GT Fails Clock Tests

I have an 8600GT 256MB DDR3 GPU I can set my clock frequencies 20 155 MHz core and 200 MHz Memory and it fails the test. I set it to optimal and it fails. In EVE- Online I get 1 FPS I usually get 140-270. My screen turns gray and i see triangles in the background flashing. Any Suggestions?

I have a coolermaster 480W
Windows XP Home SP2
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz
320GB Hard Drive
Nforce 680i LT Motherboard Soc 775
Sony DVD-RW
Mascool Heatsink


In every game that I play it is like I am running the card with no drivers. Really choppy and ends up crashing the computer. The temp never gets over 70 C CPU runs at 32-34 Motherboard runs at 35 C I have the most recent drivers from Nvidia released on Dec 5 2007
