Hey guys, sorry if this has been covered before but i couldn't find any threads correctly this.
So yesterday i bought a
XFX 680i,
XFX 8600gt,
2 sticks of OCZ Platinum Dual Ram,
and a E2180

The problem is, it gets post all the POST stuff and starts loading XP, but when it gets to the third loading animation bar, it pops the BSOD for one split second and resets. I've tried using one stick of ram, configuring the timings, and even changed the voltage, but all to no avail. :frown:
is there a way to fix this?

Is your xp install new or are you using HD with xp from another system? In any case try doing a new Xp install.

I'll add to that question, if this is an existing installation of WinXP when you had a different motherboard you'll need to do a fresh install as you can't reuse your OS, in most situations, with a different board than the one you had before.

Other than that what power supply are you running?

I am running a Ultra 450w supply,

and i was using an existing OS, so that may the problem. I had tried that before so i thought it'll work haha.

im going to reinstall XP then, thanks guys

When you install XP it put the drivers in for the Mobo. If you switch your MoBo then windows can't talk to it, thus a BSOD.
