:help: My brand new XFX 780i motherboard turns on, but stays in the XFX boot screen. I tried the BOIS jumper with no success. I did get a code 43 on the motherboard, but I didn't understand the user manuals description of code 43. I had it configured in SLI and with out and still no boot. :frown:

Before you load windows only use 1 GPU. DO you have 2 sticks of ram or 4?

Do you have any PCI cards installed?
Try booting up your system with the bare minimum hardware installed like the CPU, CPU cooler, one video card, one stick of RAM, and one hard drive. Don't have any other piece of hardware installed.

I can't even get into BIOS much less install windows. Also i did try using only one GPU and only one mem stick.

According to the screen shots in the manual I downloaded, it shows 1066 as a setting. It also mentions that in Unlinked mode you can manually set the FSB speed.
But if you can't get to the BIOS, there is some other conflict.
I see what you mean about the description being pretty useless.
"Code 43: Test Stuck Interrupt
Turn off interrupts then verify no 8259's interrupt mask register is on. Test 8259 Force an interrupt and verify the interrupt occurred."
What they hell does that mean?

This flu I've got doesn't help my dilemma much either.:explode:
any who, is there a way to RMA this to the manufacture.
I really don't want to but there seems to be no other choice for me.
