How to setup raid 0. I have not installed the OS yet and have two 160 sata 2 drives. I checked the manual and its not clear what I need to do in the bios or is there anything I should do before I install xp?

Hey,
With the system i am using now i have to load the SATA drivers from a floppy disc into the XP setup with F6.The install XP with the floppy still inside the drive, XP should load the drivers.Just hook up one drive for now, later the second will be recognized. After XP install i could go to my raid config and setup the raid config i want.
Maybe give it a go like this?
Am using an older system right now , so not sure if this is used for new systems as well.............
Good luck anyways,
Emmer.

You need both drives in to set up raid.
Go into BIOS
Set Hard Drives to Enhanced
Then Raid.
Save
Load up XP, hit F6, it is easy to miss.
Put floppy in when it tells you to and load driver. (2-4 minutes after you hit F6)

Anyone have a screen cap of what the sata raid options would look like in the xfx 680sli lt bios?
