Assassin's Creed not faster on directx10 vista

Hello. I recently got Assassin's Creed from a "Dark Directory" and well.. guess what? Like the article said, I installed both on XP SP2 and Vista 64bit no service pack. The game tended to drop its frame with full setting on Vista but on XP, there was no frame drop. On vista it was basically the feeling of 25fps~30fps. I think everyone knows what I'm talking about. Its like you feel this little lag but you could still move around and play with little worries. So.. I'm saying that, maybe its only me that happens, 64bit(might be the main cause but donno), or false statement from the company.

Same problem here. Its like every 2 or 3 minutes the frame freezes for about 4 seconds while the audio still plays. Highly frustrating.

on any system,the 3d apps run much slower on vista than on xp.I even disabled Aero to see if it has any effect on performance and I noticed absolutely NO performance improvement!
Disabling Aero did not even get me more free RAM!

but the other article in this section says that the game is faster on vista directx10.. UBI is bunch of liars...
