Will my Motherboard support the E8400 Processor

I want to upgrade from my E6420 to the new E8400. My motherboard is as ASUS P4BW-LA 775 socket P965 Express. From my research everything points that it will support the 45nm processors. But what about the Bus Speed? Will it likely need a BIOS update? I have no knowledge level about how to do that.
My Specs: OS-Vista Ultimate, E6420@2.13GHz, 4GB installed RAM, GeForce 8800GTS 512 Graphics card. Would appreciate any guidance.

officially I think that the P965 does not support Penryn (which is the E8400 CPU). If your mobo manufacture has a bios for it which says that it support it, then it will work, otherwise, it may not work.
