My latest AVG update thinks CPU-z is a trojan horse - Generic9.BHTS

Did you try running an online scan on CPU-Z to see if it also reports it as a trojan?

I've gotten copies of legitimate benches that did indeed have trojans.

If you got the copy of CPU-Z directly from their website and are sure it is clean, you may want to start a thread over on the AVG forums. They have an area for false positives, and will probably want a copy of those CPUZ files...

I don't use AVG on my laptop anymore after it reported one of the F@H work units as a trojan.

I dont use AVG matter of fact I dont use any Antivirus software bunch of BS programs if you ask me. Never needed it never had a virus and been using and building Computers since '94. Hmmmmmmmm....

Same here :rolleyes: Its called safe browsing. The only time ive used a scanner is becasue somebody else got infected on the network or one of my friends was "sure" a file was safe and wheni got it, it wasnt.
