Welcome to the Great White North. Here's what 350cm of snow looks like. That's 11.5 feet for you Americans

I feel your pain. Its not hard for me to get out of my driveway, but at a nice 81F (thats 27.2C for all you non-Americans) it is hard for me to get to work as the temptation to head out to the beach is almost overwhelming.
But seriously that is way too much snow. I do not know how you do it!

Well I haven't seen a Winter like this since I was nine yrs old back in 70/71. Back then we had one blizzard with 100km/h winds that created snow drifts Two stories high. Snow was almost to the roof and we couldn't open the doors to get out.
I jumped out one of the back windows and crawled around to the front to find the shovel which was buried under umpteen of snow. Good times :ahhhhh:

We actually had sort of a mild winter in Boston. Couldn't deal with that much snow.
These pics are from a friend of mine in Watertown, NY........146 inches in 2 weeks.:jawdrop:

Got hit pretty hard here in Ottawa. The snow covered some cars completely in snow drifts. There is one snow drift at the back of my building that almost reaches my balcony and I live on the 3rd floor. That drift covered an entire van. That guy was cursing something fierce this morning trying to get it out. I would take pics but the camera is in the babies room at the moment and I am sure as hell not waking him up just yet to get pics. Will post them later.

Slugbug, wish we had that white stuff here. Was in the mid 70's today, which is actually pretty mild for us.

No. No you don't.
Apparently the police in Montreal is starting to complain about all the cases of 'snow rage', people getting in arguments and fights over the snow.
Hurray for Sherbrooke's microclimate! There's only about 2 feet of accumulated snow on the ground for the moment. :)

Yeah there was a story on the news last night. Someone threw snow on their neighbors side and the old man came out with a shotgun.
