First time on this forum. I have an XFX 680i LT SLI mobo with a Q6600. I got the bios update for XFX and installed it but it still shows my old bios version. Is there something I'm doing wrong or something I need to do to get it to show the updated bios version? Any help would be appreciated.

Try resetting your CMOS and...
"Remove the CMOS battery and disconnect the power cord from the system for a few minutes. Then reconnect both and reboot."

Tried that but it still shows v6.00PG.

When you boot do you see an XFX logo or NVIDIA? When flashing the BIOS, do you get a message saying it was successful?

Yes. I was reading another thread and I got the answer I was looking for. I guess it did update according to the release number. I guess the last 3 digits shows the bios version and mine reads P07. Thanks
