Hey y'all,

I recently put a new system together looking like this:
XFX 680i LT
Intel Core 2 Quad 2 @ 2,4 GHZ
XFX GeForce 9600 GT X (Single)
OCZ NVidia SLI 2 G (2x1) OCZ2N800SR2GK
Creative Audigy 2
CoolerMaster 620w PSU (SLI ready)

Now if i want to install my webcam, a Philips SPC900NC-00 the cam doesn't show up in 'My Computer' after the driver install.

I've looked around on the net , seems there are other people with similar problems. But no logical solutions so far.

So any ideas, suggestions or whatever on this would be appreciated.
I run Windows XP the 32 bits version and have the latest drivers for the cam.

Could it be an USB problem?

I dunno.

Thanx for the help in advance.

Cya,

Emmer.

Does it show up with no Cam Driver installed? Try plugging it in once your PC is running, or from boot.

Right , the webcam is up and running again.
Re installed Windows , at first boot i installed the drivers for the cam and the cam was showing up in "MyComputer".

Later i had to reboot the system, due to installing software etc.Cam was not showing up.I put the USB plug into an USB card , and its showing up.

So , i am happy to see this works...........:)

Thanks for all the replies on this. And the help ofcorse.

For now the system is running fine.I only had to put my RAM to 2.1 V. That was it.Had no more BSOD's and all is goin' smooth.
