Where are the 45nm penryns (wolfdales and yorkfields)? Where are the new chipsets (x48, p45)? All of this talk about how great Intel is and I call it all Vaporhardware!!!
Plus, nvidia keeps introducing no new tech - 9800gtx which is much of a technological change from the 8800gts/gt and the 790i is much different from the 780 or 680...
Happy Friday!

ATI doesnt realease any new tech eather. 3870 X2 isnt that great in performance compared to SLI cards. That is why Nvidia isnt making better cards..

Nvidias new cards only scale better in SLI, that is about it. We are talking about 80-90% over the old 10-20% of a 8 card.

Well, it was announced awhile ago that Intel decided to postpone the launch of the X48, and their P43, P45, G45 chipsets were not scheduled to launch until Q2 of this year, around May anyway.
As far as QC Penryns go, that one is just odd. After hearing that Intel is going to be launching Bloomfield in Q3 (QC Nehalem for servers), it got a bit more strange. The only obvious reason was there was a bigger problem than Intel wanted to let on about Yorkfield processors, hence why they are going to launch its replacement Bloomfield a bit on the early side.

Sorry link thru Tiger is dead, but I swear they were taking orders for Q9300 and had it listed as in stock. The link below says they have the Q9450 in stock.

Yeah, a few sites published news articles mentioning TD was selling them. Was all it took to clean them out.
