As many of you may know the site will be undergoing changes in the coming months. Some of the changes will occur in the form of new servers and cleaner running code (Scott & Bjorn) while other changes will occur on the front page in the form of new layouts.
What we are doing today is asking your opinion on our reviews. Help make the site even better by letting us know what you think!
Do you prefer our reviews to have fewer images that are large and do not require clicking or more images that are smaller but require clicking to see the entire image?

I currently like the way you guys layout the pics in the reviews by having a couple larger pics to showcase the main product itself followed by a few thumbnail shots showing off the product, its features and any included accessories but I'll have to go with more detailed thumbnail pics so that a better visual representation is shown for anyone who is reading the reviews.

Yea what werty Said.
Haivng big pictures is always nice as u can see it w/o clicking it.
Taking large shots of the major key parts, and then have smaller shots on the more detailed other aparts etc..

I agree, a combination of both is the best option.
I voted more smaller images, cause i just open them in new tabs for easy viewing and/or comparison, but having a few big ones that help you decide if you even want to click the small ones is good.

As I don't always look at the pictures of a product that is being reviewed I like the whole having a smaller picture that still show the product and then if I want to see a more detailed picture I click on the image.
This saves on the whole loading time of the pages when reading the review which is more important to me than having to sit and wait for pictures to finish loading.

I prefer having a lot of images (meaning more information) even if they're small (I really don't mind clicking on a picture to enlarge it) rather than having few images (full-sized). And remember...A PICTURE WORTH 1000 WORDS. ;-)

I dont know I think its fine right now.
I dont personnaly like small pics where you cant see everything.
Im not sure what you mean by smaller picture but I would say more pics is always better but if its at the cost of having small pics where things arent too obvious then I would go for the current way you guys are doing the reviews.

I like the thumbnail and click to enlarge idea. I love review that do that because pic's is in the preceptive of the individual who see's them and who takes them. A reviewer may think a certain pic is great and keep that large when others may think it was a waste of space. Thumbnails you can glance over to see what pics you do want to see and appreciate. When I am interested in a product I want to see every detail. But I may want to see detail because I have a certain Mobo, case or something that I would need to know if it would fit, work, look etc. I like thumbnails that blow up to show nice big pictures. So I voted for that. Also instead of having the big picture load in the same paid have it load in a separate page. I do this on my own now just to right click and open in new window. It is much handier to just close the window instead of having to reload the page again when going back. Not to mention easier on the server too and also get a proper ad count for the advertising department.

Depends on what's being taken in the picture. If it can be taken at different angles, many small images that are clickable would be best. Something like in this review's page is perfect.

However, even for pictures that are already enlarged in the review, they should be clickable to be viewed at the maximum resolution

Yup, that sound about right to me as well. ;)
