Project due tomorrow and I have this picture I really like, but the red-eye is killing me, the tool picks up on the frames, and then if I cut only the eyes to a new layer the tool still flakes out. GIVE ME IDEAS!

Question is the original pic that pixelated?

Mix of my crap paint skills I used to copy and paste it, and 1200 DPI scan. Dust and Scratches filter cleans it out, but that is a smart filter at the end. I just need to get the eyes fixed right now.

you could just use paint to edit the eyes yourself. heres an example.

A, I have Photoshop CS3.
B, I would be the class clown with a dog with black eyes. I am the guy that has the 97% average that spends way to long working on his projects remember. I spent like a hour and just can't get the eyes right. I need a hint. Human eyes copied on don't look right.

Ok so then maybe search for another dog of the same type somewhere on the web try to find the best pose and use those eyes.

If you use Photoshop then you could always use a gradient map (Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Gradient Map) and find a color you want. After that just erase your gradiant map where you don't want the color change (like erase the whole thing except the eyes).
Here's an example I did on a sig I made for someone.

With a black/white gradient map + opacity change to tone down the colors.

I don't find any problems with the red splatters. It looks nice. :)

It's pretty cluttered to me... and the splatters of paint don't really add anything to the piece except to take up space... sorry.
