Here is big bertha

she took life from an old piece of bathroom furniture, my roomate's old pc and a recent gift from my uncle, who bought a new pc.

On top, she's got a P4 3ghz northwood, 2 gigs of ddr 400 and a ATI x300, 2x WD 40 gig IDE drives in raid 0 and a d-link wireless pci ethernet card.

Middle level is power supplies and dvd + hd #2 for above

Bottom is mini-atx with athlon xp2000 and 512 megs of ddr 333,
a old maxtor 30 gig IDE drive and and a classic beige cd drive.

Top is running XP, bottom is running ubuntu 7.10 to expand my knowledge of mastering all OS's. Both are folding for me (our team...).

Its butt ugly, but it sure is practical and running very cool in my basement.

I think it looks pretty cool. Plus it's two computers in the space of one. :beerchug:

looks like you closed your eyes, and just dumped a bunch of pc parts on a rack. looks good, as for me, instead of using a rack im using actually an empty box for my downloading pc.

what are the chance ?? I just threw everything on and all the connectors fell into place !!!

Hey thanks for your constructive comment !
I actually planed it out a little bit so a the wires would be long enough, and everything has a little room to breathe and is easily accessible.

Wow, just wow. It's certainly an innovative approach, but don't let the case manufacturers know about it ;). By the way signature is absolutely massive. Might want to shrink it down a bit.

I like how you took a motherboard tray and zip tied it to the top of the cart. If you are really looking for more room on your bench, you may want to invest in a KVM switch. I have been using one for years that has 4 ports on it. I can run up to 4 computers with just one monitor, keyboard and mouse. Right now I have 3 computers up. 1 running Vista, 1 running XP and the other is running Ubuntu.

Yup I agree with MtDew here. Get a KVM switch and that will clear up a lot of space. Been using on for awhile as well and swear by it.

Hey Jules they are right for the KVM switch.
It costs like 60 bucks, we use one at work with the 4 security camera monitors and can easily switch between all of them.

Anyways Id like to see your Rack in real haha must be funny to see it.
What does your girlfriend say about it hehe

guys, I know exctly what a KVM switch is, and what is does. But
Im not alone in this house. This house is non smoker, but we both smoke. We smoke only in the basement, with the 2 pcs. So therefore 2 screens 2 keyboards and 2 mice. For 2 men.....
