I was just about to go with the 22" but couldn't justify $313 over $250 for 2 more inches. Oh well, guess those couples inches are gonna have to be stuck on the new TV to match

Well that sounds like a plan. Really nice monitor you got there by the way. I'm sure it will be just perfect for gaming or whatever else you plan to do with it.

I had a 20" inch myself and it was definitely a great picture.
I went with a 24" Dell just recently.

Yea, I cant even game native res. right now with my 7800GT... not that many games i play even support 16:9 let alone the 16:10 viewing format of a widescreen monitor...
That should be a poll, how many people actually game at there native resolution. I know I rarely if ever do. lol.

I only game at my native res if the game supports it. But he wants to play Crysis, CoD4, STALKER, and Bioshock at that res. Yea right.

One question, do you have all of your electronics plugged into a basic surge protector?

No no, I have everything plugged into a woods PC surge protector.looks simple, but that thing works wounders. Its 1100 joules and has a $250 000 insurance policy behind it. Has EMI and RFI filteration in it to boot.

Big reccomendation for the 245BW. Don't let 'TN Panel' squawkers scare you away from it - instead it outdoes most other panel types at the same price.

All native res for me, except for Crysis on Very High. 8serieslolez.

I got my Samsung 226BW for $260 + tax and absolutely love it. I was lucky enough to receive an S model too. For a TN panel, the series is pretty kickass. :thumleft:
