Got this in a e-mail a while ago from Olin the owner of BenchMarkReviews.

"I still fold for Bjorn3d, and am also still your top producer."

I think he is challenging us to find someone to outproduce him.

What do you think?

Scott, that person is you. With your rig you could beat him in a week. :exactly:

It sounds like a challenge. I say we all sign in under one alias for like a week and just destroy him :whistler:

Actually that is a great idea. Create an account called "Das Capitolin Rapist" or something and just pulverize his score.

That would be hilarious

Bah-
He's not our top producer anyway. I've only got 3.6 years till I catch him. Hehe.

Or we can all just log in to Kougar's name and make his points go up and beat his since he is the closest one. Actually I think I am going to do that right now starting at work and when I get home set it up on the PS3 as well. Still goes towards the team and heck I am already 14th on the chart so for me its all good.

EDIT: Just signed my dual core from work under Kougar.

I personally like this idea myself, but wouldn't it take two months to beat him that way. On the other hand Kougar could do it in a little less then one month. Decisions decisions...

It would take too long under another name besides Kougar is our top guy anyway and he is on our team and fellow Bjorn member. It would be easier to get everyone to log in points under Kougar's name and really put the boots to Das. I am sure right now he has a giggle or two and who knows may even try to defend his title and give us that much more points for our team. I say we accept the challenge. We win either way!

My Q6600 should arrive in a few days, so my ppd should increase substantially. Right now with just the E6750 I'm doing about 1500 ppd.

I'll be putting the Q6600 in this rig and putting the E6750 into a new rig with a Gigabyte P31-DS3L I have. The old Opteron 165 rig will be added once I figure out the problem I'm experiencing with it.

By the way Scott, I think you meant to say Benchmark Reviews :)

Are some members going to help out on this? I have already sent my resources under Kougar's name which includes my PS3 and my dual core from work. We need more people to help get Kougar's name over Das. If we all pull together it will not take long at all.

Humm... I don't see him as the top producer at all. He may have the the most total points but his PPD is in the 700 range. There are 8 people on the team that produce more than him each day.

However this guy needs brough down a peg or two. :keepfolding:

I don't drop in regularly just once and see what I miss... :eek2:

My current PPD is showing to be 1,610 which I still consider to be low, but is higher than what it was several days ago, I assume that'd be your handywork Sadasius but I don't know how to tell for sure. ;)

I've only shut off one PC and have my Quadbox at stock since my watercooling kit is not installed just now. I noticed the last couple days my score jumped slightly, but I'm still below the roughly 2,000 a day of my previous rough average.

As much as I would like to dethrone Das Capitolin from the top he has had most of a year at 3k+ production to built up a buffer, which I've been chipping away at since his production dropped. Let me put it this way:

Das has 1,168,524 points. I have 787,070 points. Our entire Bjorn3D team combined generates a roughly currently 15,000 points a day. Even if the entire team folded under my name it would take an entire month to catch him. Currently on my own it will take me about 6-10 months to do so.

As much as I appreciate the thought and the idea of getting ahead of Das, I'm not going to ask anyone to fold under my name. I'd rather y'all keep to folding under your own names just so y'all know what your contribution has been. It still benefits the team, and it still benefits the protein research, and Das will be going done soon enough... :beerchug:

Das Capitolin has not been our top producer for at least six months, I should know as that was me. In fact as SonicWRX said he's currently producing in 7th place.

Oh, and :keepfolding:

Yeah that was my handy work Kougar for the past few days. I will put it back under my name tonight. Just thought it would be fun to dethrone him quickly through team work.

I can't currently change my name anyway, as my wife doesn't know how to do it for me.

Its not a problem, and I agree it would be fun. But realistically, just look at the numbers! There is no way half of our team would or even could change over to fold under my name... so it would still take several months to catch him if we tried. It's just not worth the trouble, I'll pass him by the end of the year. Sooner, depending on when Nehalem goes gold. :)
