I just rebooted the server. I am hoping this fixed the issue since I do not know if Bjorn rebooted after working on the SQL issue.

Post here with issues after this reboot.

I noticed one problem.

Just before you reset the stuff, my inbox had a messaged labled "Congratulations you won the April contest." from username "scott".

Is there someway you can get that back to me.

I think the server is acting funky because it was fast then suddenly slow again.

Did ya forget to recharge your scooter's batteries this morning, yet again?

If I'm not seen or heard from again, then let it be known Miles probably ran me over with his mobile scooter and I didn't survive... :hide:

(And yes, the server issue is definitely still intermittent, but at least it's not AWOL again!)

Yes still acting wierd sometimes its fast sometimes it takes a bit to load a page.
I'm on 10mb/s cable speed. the forums act like dial up at some points.

Its working very fast for me. Sometimes it slows down and stops when I post a quick reply, but alot of fourms are doing that.

This may explain some issues. The server is in Houston. Look at the down major US routers and one is in Texas.

This morning it was really really slow. But now at work it is pretty fast. So whatever you did seemed to have worked good. :thumleft:

it's been slow since yersterday afternoon. Now it seems like. At least we now know the cause. Thanks for the info Scott.

Man, if and only if this slowness is caused by huge traffic to bjorn3d:).

It's working absolutely fine and actually faster for me. I haven't noticed any errors or problems yet except for the smiles still being too wide.

Well it looks like it isn't down anymore and I haven't had it hang for at least an hour. Let's cross our fingers and hope that was it.

I've never seen it this slow. Takes forever just to get into the site.

Houston, we have a problem.

Look it's the Bjorn3D rocket (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c31_1196642382) circa April 16, 2008. The teeth are pretty cool though, along with the roasted cars.

My poor website. Don't think it is going to explode. Just coding and settings that have to be tweaked. We have had issues like this with every server move and in a while we get them fixed.

You know I'm just kidding Scott, but if you really wanted to blow up your website you would want to use something like this (http://www.netdisaster.com/) anyway.
