Hello All, Hope someone can help....

I have the above motherboard. I have a problem with the INPUT/OUTPUT AUDIO.

I am trying to speak in TS , all they hear is my background music/game, But not what i speak. When I go to the SOUND AND AUDIO DEVICES setup in the control panel, I run the TEST HARDWARE option for voice. The MIC bar (which is the MIC level) is actually showing the music im playing with windows media instead of my voice on the MIC..

Is there a reason for this?? Please help

The output audio i.e. speakers, music all works fine, but somehow this is filtering to the output for no reason i know.

Thank you
Regards
Jason

Doesn't hurt to check, so first, make sure the mic and audio jacks are plugged into the correct ports... Pink is usually the mic input jack.

Next open up your Relteak audio control panel, and click the Audio I/O tab. You can test the various input/output audio jacks from there, and if any are assigned incorrectly you can change them.

Next up, click the Microphone tab and make sure you can hear yourself. You can try enabling or disabling some of the advanced mic features here as well, and testing to see if they improve or worsen the sound.

I would guess that you have individual pins for your front panel audio, and that's where you're plugging in the mic, correct? Cause it sounds like one of the pins for the front panel audio was put in the wrong spot.
