I'm running a xfx680i LT SLI with two evga geforce 8800's in sli.
I just ran the first video game on this new machine. Graphics are unreal.
Only thing is, there's this SLI logo and a thin green line appearing on the screen in game near the top of the screen.
Anybody know how to turn this "advertisement" off?

IN the nvidia control panel, where you enable and disbable SLI itself theres and option to turn this off aswell.

Lol thats not an advertisement. You turned that on yourself. Its supposed to "show" you the balancing of graphics between the 2 cards.

I have the control panel open before me, and there is only an option to use or not use the sli. There is no other option there. Certainly you're not suggesting that in order to get rid of that, I have to disable the sli?
And as far as turning something on, that's all I did was enable the sli.
If I have to look at that all the time.......:-x

OK, I found it in the menus above.

Yea it should be above somewhere where it says turn on tray icon under view i believe. I would look myself but i have Omega drivers and some drivers are alot different in their placement of "tools".

Actually I had the same problem first time I installed SLI.
Took me a little searching to turn it off :p
Sometimes it gets turned on default.
