It turns on, but the CPU fan doesn't run. The motherboard screen never comes up, and the lights on the front don't turn on. I've checked and everything is plugged in properly.

Yes, I haven't unplugged anything and nothing is loose or just hanging around.

Did you change/install any new hardware? If no was it turned off in a normal manner? (Start--> Turn Off)

Plug your cpu fan into a different mobo or an adapter and see if it works then, if it doesnt then your fan is done for. But seeing as a lot of things arent working its probably your mobo if its a hardware problem.

I got the fan running on the board now. But still no dice with the other problems. Also, my DVD drive doesn't have any power to it.

Not sure if this'll help but I would get a better PSU as I've never heard of "inland".

If the DVD drive doesn't open, could it be that the motherboard is dead? I tried a few different power supplies with no luck.

Im going with the impressions that either your motherboard is dying or something is wrong with it. Beacuse the chances of 5 different parts in your computer that stop working at the same time is very slim. So ya im pretty sure its ur mobo.

All a ROM drive needs in order to eject the tray is power. Try a different power connector.

Only thing I can suggest, other than testing each part on another system or buying/RMA'ing some parts, is to power on your computer up when its not installed in a case with minimal parts installed which would consist of only the:

1) CPU,
2) CPU cooler,
3) motherboard,
4) one stick of ram, and,
5) video card.
