View Full Version : Forum image Attachment issures after XP Sp3 install.

Soo..before i installed SP3, when i clicked an attached image it would open in a new window and thats how i want it, now it opens this stupid ****:

oh do i get it back to the normal: click and open in new window, i dont like having to click two extra times to get the seperate window.

I am running SP2 and the attachments open the same for me. As far as I know its not a problem with SP3, its just the way the attachments open.

If you want to open an attachment in a new window, right click the attachment and "Open Link In New Window/Tab."

One odd thing I found in your test thread is that the first test pic would open normally in a window however the others would open as you'll described in the first post here.

i doesnt affect GIF as far as I can tell.

still, how the hell do i turn it off?

yep, it seems that uploading an attachment that is in a GIF format displays differently than an attachment that is in a JPG format. Solution, make all your attachments in a GIF format.

Lol thats slowing your system down? It runs fine on a P4 so you should have no trouble with a q6600.

yes i am, it takes so much longer to load the damn java image view ****.

Lol wow you must have set up your pc horrible.

There is no way to get rid of it its on the site lol.

No, its just slows down IE6...not the pc.

And apparently it can be turned off by the admin, an admin on a diff site did it.

Lol IE6? Who uses that anymore besides you.

I doubt any admin is going to take it off. I personally like it.

i hate the look of new brosers, im spartan... in fashion sense.

you only like it becouse you dont opppen up a gajillion attachments a day.

I tihnk i pointed this out awhile ago... It came along with the VB upgrade. If you just started noticing it since an upgrade i would have to say your PC must have been way out of date man.
