Can anyone recommend good north & south bridge chipset water cooling blocks that are available to fit these boards yet ?
I can tell the southbridge block will probably need to have offset barbs to clear vid card in slot 1.
The temps right now are not extremely bad , but , i'm looking to do some OC'ing with this &an 6850 dual core , experimented a little with it at 3.77 , 9x multi,1.4 volt , was stable / but the N & S-bridge temps were a worry for me.

Apologies ! LOL ! Just realized i think i put this in wrong thread!

Post moved to Overclockers corner for ya.

Okay, I have heard of two blocks so far. Ek waterblocks makes them. And there is a guy on extremeoverclocking.com (same place we get our folding stats) named Viper or Viper John or something along those lines that has been producing and selling custom blocks for the 780i for quite some time, though he has slowed his production from what I understand. Several people that I've talked to over there prefer his over the EK blocks. Haven't heard of any other options yet. Kinda wondering if they'd fit a 790i too. When I pull my rig apart this week, I'm going to look at the differences to find out.

Hey Biggun nice to see you here.

Now seriously, why would you even need water cooling for your MB? Do those fans really make that much noise? Or are they really that hot? The bridges on my ASUS are heatpipe passive and I have never had a prob with overheating.

There is a guy named Viper John that makes the water blocks for the 780i and the 790i. They are very well made and work very good. I have the 780 Viper John kit on mine and have no issues with it.
