Soldam was actually bought out by a company called Windy after it went into bankruptcy. Soldam made the best cases in the world bar none and from what I understand the quality hasn't diminished any since Windy took over. Main problem is they are only sold in Japan and to get one to the states would cost close to $1,000.00 after duties, shipping and the cost of the case.

They only make like 15-20 of a model at a time and that's it. They are hand made by extremely skilled craftsmen and I would give almost anything for one.

Cool case, but a little on the rediculous side.

Well if you did that you would at least get to see the sights, and pick up a Famicom while your there.

Fierce looking case. The red is hot. But a $1000 makes it way too overpriced.

I think having hand made materials, completely hand made, ect ect is way to rediculous for a case anyways. Its not a car, its not a Harley. Sheesh. Its a computer case.

I think its a cool idea but i wouldnt pay that much for it.

Check out this guy's site, he's gone completely Windy crazy! http://www.freewebs.com/elpibe10/ (http://www.freewebs.com/elpibe10/)

I agree with a comment he made on the forum I linked to his site from (via his sig), the HD cages need to be redesigned, esp considering how pricey and supposedly expertly crafted these things are. I also found it interesting that nowhere on his site did I find any comments on noise levels of these cases. Give me a sale on a P182 any day and I'll be happier than wasting half the price of a high end gaming rig on one of these.

I have to highly disagree with alot of his hardware choices. I find it funny that he reccomends Seasonic SOOO much for PSUs yet in his main rig hes using a PCP&C. Lol pwnt.

I have a feeling he's a programmer with money to burn and loves boring his guests to death bragging about his expensive toys.

Actually that's one of the best case mods I've seen, very classic styling. I looked it up, it costs $799.99!!!

LOL, it's called the Red Shag Wagon! (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7374/cst-719/Cooler_Master_CSX_Red_Shag_Wagon_Aluminum_Stacker_ 830_Full_Tower_Case_-_Limited_Edition_CX_830SGWR_01_GP.html#blank)
