E4300 @ 3.825Ghz

Hey guys !
Hehe, I managed to get up to 3.825 today.
Its pretty crazy.
I mean back then I could only get to 3.7GHz and it wasnt 100% stable.
I played COD4 and UT for a while and it was stable...
Sadly though i dont have internet at home so i couldnt download any programs to benchmark.
Well soon ill have the internet.

Yah well on the first gen board if I left the northbridge to auto it would boost it automatically if I oced.
When I got my 2nd striker extreme I couldnt hit 3.7 but what i didnt know is that if I left the northbridge on auto it would leave it at 1.2v
But anyways the second one was defective when I ran SLI it would make this horrible noise when things exploded or when people were talking on css...
Anyways the third one was already busted when I got it.
And now this is the fourth one, and it seems i got a good one this time around hehe.
Im sure I can go a little higher then 3.825...
Id say I can get to 3.85 or maybe 3.9 with a little tweaking.
Anyways I swear windows vista loads in 15 seconds...
Its like BANG BANG BANG everything is loaded up.
Of course my ram was at 1131 back then but now Im running it lower to have a 1:1 ratio and it does seem like it makes a huge difference then just going for clock speeds...

Like I said I dont have internet at home so i cant validate it.
But I did validate the 3.7Ghz before and I posted it somewhere around here.
Ill try to find it.
Dont worry im not BS people know me around here and have seen my computer.
But anyways i will validate it ASAP as soon as I get internet access which will be once I move in my condo which im taking possession on july.

So it is full 24 hour's Small FFT Orthos stable?

What kind of load temps are you getting, and whats the voltage at that speed?

I know it too about 1.46 volts for my E6400 to hit 3.7, gotta love Core 2's!

Well first off my load temps can go around -20 to -30.
Idle is like -38 and lower (I mean lower in the negative...)
On bootup im around -45 to -50.
As far as vcore im at 1.65.
If its a 100% stable I dont know... I dont have the net anymore so I access the net from a little everywhere.
The dope, truman or my girlfriends...
If I get the chance I will download it from somewhere and bring it home.
BTW the e4300 is a 1.8GHz procy stock...
So if you look at 3.8 its past a 100% overclock.
I think at 3.7 I was at like 102%...

a really nice OC, i have big trouble getting mine over 3ghz, 1.4v is as far as i'm prepared to go.

Thats the 5th one that gets killed.
Its not that im doing anything stupid.
The first gen striker extreme could take a lot of voltage on the NB like 1.55 or something like that.
Now every board I have usualy die on me if I even attemp 1.5v
I guess I got teased by a VERY good board and now all im getting are cheap pieces of crap.
Its sad really...
Wonder if all the 680i NB are all this weak...
Anyways it doesnt really matter... I mean i dont even have internet at home and all I did with my comp was photoshop a few things here and there and trying to get a higher clock speed.
So the RMA wont bother me...
I should be able to get on the net around July once I get in my new condo me and my girlfriend just bought.

I had the P5N32-E SLI (Striker Extreme on a diet), and cooked one, while another just plain died on me. I had mine at around I think 1.45-1.55 at times, but that was with a Thermalright HR-05 on it.

I moved to the Maximous Extreme, and love it. The Nvidia chipset as a whole seemed to get extremely hot, and very vulnerable to overheating / just plain dying. Both my boards deaths were Northbridge dying related.

BTW, shwarz, you could post your overclock here, I'm pretty sure this is updated as it contanis the new quads. The highest e4300 on this chart is at 3.65, and I know you got more than that, you could be a chart-topper.

Hmm, 3.8 is crazy man...I have mine sitting at 2.9 at the moment under stock volts and stock cooling lol. Doesn't even break a sweat, gonna have to throw something better on it and see what it can do when I have some free time. :)

Weirdest thing ever.
I started my computer today just for F of it...
Cause I wanted to make sure before I call Asus for yet another RMA number.
Well guess what... It started...
Thats the worst thing ever...
It did happen to me before on a laptop that I had opened.
When I put it back together the thing wouldnt start...
I went to sleep and then the day after when I woke up it was sitting next to me.
So I pressed power and BAM starts right up like nothing ever happened...
Maybe im so obsessed that I dream that my pc is not starting...
AWW the nightmares hunt me every nights !!! AHHHHH!!!!!
