I plan on selling a brand new (unopened) ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 video card.
Additional: Video component, crossfire attachment, and DVI adapters
UPDATE: I've decided to now sell this card for an even $300
Let me now if your interested. This is the last offer before I put it on Ebay.
Note: If I can do a direct real-life cash transfer, I could let it go for less :)
Thanks :icon_tiphat:

Generally you would exchange the item you are selling for some sort of currency but I'll take it off your hands for free since its a worthless item with no real value
BTW did you happen to win that in AMD's April "Guess To Win" contest? One of the winners resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

well what I have is an unopened (ie. still in bag) ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2, with DVI adaptors, a crossfire attachment, and a component video connection. I was intending more of an auction than a definite price, so an offer would be much preferred, but if you insist I suppose I could make up a price..:icon_tiphat:

thanks. I'll have a picture posted today or tomorrow. I'll probably have an EFT via paypal when I sell it, depending on the buyer though. I've had much experience selling D2 items on ebay though

You could also give HardOCP a try as they have a huge user base and you can get alot of exposure over there.

on that note, try anandtech.com . I sell tons of stuff on both those sites with prices pretty comparable to what i would get on fleabay (minus fees).

Thats depending on price, it will have to be below 300$ to even be remotely worth it. Other wise get a 8800 GTS 512.

I wouldn't get an 8800GTS 512MB if you already have a 8800GTS 640MB as you are better off getting you moneys worth by getting lets say, a HD4850/HD4870 or a GTX260. Unless of course you like to spend your hard earned cash on upgrades that don't really boost performance a heck of alot. For example, someone how has an E6400 but decides to buys a E6420 just for the extra cache.

I was just pointing out a better alternative. The best would be wait a month for new cards that are much better.

I don't intend to sell the card for below $300. it goes for, at the lowest, around $440 in stores. since this is unused and still seal wrapped, theres no reason it should be worth half its price.
I think I'll try to sell it on E-bay if theres no buyers here, but I suppose I'll wait another few days =)

Yea you can get more so you should sell it for more. Its really not worth the price it is selling for but thats the reason why i didnt buy one.

Alright.
its been several days now, wondering if theres any last offers or advice before I put it up on E-bay. Was intending to start it at $310, since it goes in stores at the very minimum for $440-460, and its unopened/unused.
anyways, thanks

Online they are only about $350 - $400. I see a lot of starting bids of $300 so $310 is a good starting bid. Best of luck selling it. :icon_tiphat:

Alright, here it is.
I'll now take an offer around $320 for the card. That is, about $150 less than it is in stores.
