Well the datacenter where my servers sit had a major explosion and fire. The Planet's datacenter HV1 had a huge electrical conduict explode and it brought down 3 walls in the power center part of the complex.

Over 9000 servers of some of the best sites in the net grot effected by this. But they are working on fixing the building and getting people back online as fast as they can.

Wow that sounds bad, at least they managed to bring it back this quick.
Scott you picked the wrong time for your vacation, tough luck.

Holy, the word explode should never be near anything computer related. I wonder what caused it.

There were a few sites I peruse down, and some are still spotty.

Glad to see Bjorn3D made it back so quick, it's such a reliable site I had myself wondering if some thing had gone wrong with my OS.

That explosion sounds like some thing serious, perhaps the spambots are seeking revenge for being so effectively excluded from the site? In other words "Skynet got mad".

That is crazy. The two sites I visit on the weekends Bjorn3D and OntheMat.com were both down this weekend. I just got an email from onthemat.com that they were down because their host suffered and explosion over the weekend. Its a small internet after all!:jawdrop:

i saw the news elsewhere and knew that's the reason which the site is down. Luckily it's back up now. Let's hope that everything will get back to normal soon.

We are currently trying to get e-mail to work. None of our *@Bjorn3D.com work.

Luckily (and thankfully) no one was hurt when this occurred.

Pretty crazy stuff.

Wow, this explains why some sites I was trying just weren't working... didn't know it hit us as well.

Uhoh, I just sent an email... I'll have to make sure it went through now.
