This will be a drawing out of my hat of all that qualify for the contest.

I was going to put my 7800GTX in there but if I get this thing it will be a beast. The entire thing will run off less than 200watts even with the 7800 but probably can run off of less than 175 with the 9600GSO!

Jelly, if your talking to me...no, I'm not going to leave.
I've been around for a while now and I consider this to be one of the best information sites on the net.

What I meant by my comment was that if I win a nice video card, I wont join another contest for a video card. I try to only join contests that give stuff that I can use.
If there are more than one prize available and I win something that I don't need...I give it away on my site.
Like the Icybox. I don't really have a use for it so it will be given away over at CDU. They are the ones that helped me win it so it's only right to give it to one of them.
I did it with the CoolIt Systems items that I won here as well. I already had a set.

The X850s were able to hold their own even against the 7800GT at the time. Great card indeed!

The thing is, it has some major overheating problems. You must keep the fan running at 50%, and it will make a lot of noise. Changing the cooler would not make sense anymore because buying a new card would be a better deal. It still works great for him though. That card used to be mine when I built my first PC about 4 years ago. Then I updated to 2x 7900GTs because XFX was nice enough to send me those cards because I won here in January 2007, and now I upgraded to a 8800GTs and I sold my 7900GTs. But other than that, let's stay on topic. I don't want to start a whole different topic here. :)

I absolutely agree. Personally, I had a CRAZY month at work. It's my new workplace that demands me to work like crazy 12-14 hours a day, so unfortunately in the last three months (since I started working there) I don't find the time to post like I used too...:frown:

I used to post (at least) 100-200 posts a months, but currently (in the last three months) I post no more than 50 posts a months...:frown:

But I still visit of course the forums EVERYDAY and at least my new work is interesting and I'm learning a lot and getting a lot of experience, so I guess it's temporary and hopefully in the near future I'll have more time...;-)
