Ya, I got the same email about a day ago. At first I thought I won something from this site, but it wasnt as good news as that. It still looks like a decent board.

What type of warranty does XFX put on its motherboards? Lifetime warranty?

I am not sure if it is lifetime, good question.

Mobos are warrantied for 2 years, but the way it is worded it sounds like it can be included under warrenty after 2 years under the digression of XFX.

Standard motherboard warranty is two years.

I received the same email last week, and since then, I've been searching for a vendor, with no success. When will this board be available? I'm holding off on a Quad-Core build, because this board has all the right specs. A two (2) year warranty is more than enough.

Are you getting a blue screen or freezing or something else when installing your OS? Are you running RAID? Which CPU are you running with this board? You won't be able to pull a hard drive from another system and transfer it to this system. It will not load. It will probably give you an HAL blue screen.

ok, here's one for ya
go to update my bios and get all the way through the reflash but it will not verify. Now everytime I boot i get "cmos checksum error" and have the F1/F2 option for the bios settings. About every other time I boot I get a 2 beep or a 3 beep code. I've changed the cmos battery out for a new one thinking that it was just killing itself everytime i booted and reverting to the default settings, but that hasn't fixed it. any ideas?
