tuners anyone?

just out of curiosity who here is into cars and performance? i love tuners especially. i tune my own car with a buddy of mine and its a mazda 626 LX with some aftermarket parts under the hood and exhaust system. does anyone got a nice tuner or car? if so, show it off! im posting two videos of my car in action.

its not the nicest, but it does have some good performance with four cylinders, dual overhead cams, and the parts we put on. it redlines at about 6.5k RPMs.

I am not much of a tuner, but I am a car person. I believe in just getting a good car to start with, as once you start modding you lose the perfection of a stock car. Some day I do want to put in a stock LS7 into the GTO, it is a bolt in mod using same tranny and exhaust.

Im a car person as well. But honestly i just consider ricers bolt on kit cars. No offense. I love ricers dont get me wrong just not my thing even though it used to be. If i had something better than a phone video to record with id record some stuff around here. My Mustang is just a straight 6 though for gas and my dads Mustang has his 1st Cylinder not hitting right and messed up becasue of a wasp nest.

Ricer shouldn't apply to all imports though. R32s, Mazdaspeeds and what not are not ricers, they are high performance, high horsepower cars. A ricer to me is the crap car with a modded engine that is loved by the person who works on it/ owns it.

yea i figured alot of people here wouldnt be into imports but i love em. i cant wait in a few more years to buy a 2006 or 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. you can look up mad videos on youtube, that car will burn ALOT of cars out there. theres a couple vids on youtube of sti's killin lamborghinis too lol. in my opinion the sti series is the best engineered car of all time because they can make a 4 banger giving power too all 4 wheels fast as hell. (which is dumb:icon_tiphat:)


btw miker, i dont consider my car a ****ty ricer because (a. the engine, frame, and body are in decent condition. (b. its still a work in progress and (c. i've personally burned alot of other 4 cylinder cars, besides ones that are turboed ha.

Well i didnt say i DIDNT like them, i love a good ricer. (Supras are high performance vehicles as well but i still call them ricer, i use it as a stereo-type) I just prefer V8 muscle now over 4 bang bolt on kit cars. I mean if i put the amount of money in a classic muscle car that it would take you to supe up your 4 banger to catch me stock id be smokin people left and right at the drag strip. And i just like vroom vroom instead of zing zing hehe. Its cool that you tune your own car though. I really like people who DONT take their cars to the garage so some Asian guy can upgrade your chip, install a cold air intake, cat back exaust, and bolt on turbo.

Yea the RX7 is deff faster than the RX8 but i like the body style of the 8 alot better personaly. I used to love Hyundai Tiburons too but i got outa that cause im more into RWD now.

Here is a link to the pics of my car. These are ALL the pics from the time I got it until this year just look at the dates of the files. The list of mods is a mile long. So I'll just give the end result. 312HP and 310TQ at all four wheels with the 2.0L stock block. I have the dyno charts somewhere. The car was built for Autocross and Time attack so I do not know how fast it is in the 1/4 mile. Its also my daily driver. Also befor you ask no its not and STi it is just a normal WRX that has a STi rear wing and An upgraded hood scoop that looks like an STi one until you see them next to each other.
