Question about the 780i SLI NB cooler

I am almost dead set on purchasing this board, however, I noticed in alot of reviews on Newegg people were referring to the Northbridge cooler blowing heat onto adjacent video cards. Is this a large issue as far as raising the temperature on the card goes, or is there a way to fix either the way it blows or replace the current cooler, it looks pretty permanent.

We haven't seen the direction of the airflow off of the cooler have any problems. If you have decent case airflow you shouldn't experience any negative issues even with the hottest cards. The chipset cooler is one unit so it is basically permanent.
