Which 8800GT

Hi, I was looking for opinions on these 2 8800gt's

I can get the first one $10 cheaper at another retailer

Is it correct that the "PVT88PYDF4" has a controllable fan, while the zalman edition does not?

I would go with the first one listed. I have that one and love it. The thing I see wrong with the one with the Zalman cooler is that there is no cooling for the RAM. So you won't really be able to OC the RAM much.

I my case all three of the 8800GT xXx Zalmans I have owned are stuck at 30% fan speed and reaches about 71degC maximum on average.

Apparently it's something to do with the chipset on certain versions and this goes not just for XFX but for other brands like Gigabyte, ASUS and Leadtek.
