680 SLI LT Memory Problems

Hi everyone new here and hope you can help, have just built a new system using the 680 SLI LT MB with an Q6600, and 2x 1 GB memory.

The memory ran in my old machine with a Windows Vista experiance of 5.9 in the 680 it comes up at 5.

I have the memory in the same colour slots, bios shows it as 800, so I am stumped.

Please any ideas

What was in the old machine? What kit of memory are you using?

Vista score really means nothing... It is a POS "random" number.

The memory was generic DDR2 6400, running on an ASRock MB with an AMD x2 6000, no tweaks everything set to auto
