XFX 780i Post code 66

When i have been booting my comp , i have been getting a post code 66, in the book post code 66 is "reserved" so im not sure what that means, but i get no video and the computer is on. When i finally get it to boot after a few hard restarts, i then have to go back into bios and change the settings because everything resets back to factory default. this only happens when i turn the computer is turned off, but will restart without any problems.

Any ideas on whats causing this?,

I have posted a ticket but have recived no reply as yet!.

Many thanks.

PM me your ticket number. Post your complete system specs here. We will probably need those.

This will sound pretty stupid but I had something like that happen to my 680i board. Long story short, the jumper on the CMOS reset pins was jammed at a weird angle. Restarts, everything good, but hard starts, problems plus all of my bios settings were back to factory presets.
I know the board is slightly different but just an idea. Also, the manual that came with the board showed an incorrect placement of the jumper. Online version was fine.
