K well what just happend proves that Friday the 13th is my day of luck.

Well i was up all night pretty much playing Vegas 2 with my vid card OC at 700mhz with no problems or artifacts. Usualy when it gets warm enough to artifact i shut down and go to bed. Not today, the sun was well up before i noticed what time it was. So i put my half full glass of tea in the fridge before i go to bed.

Just as i lay down i get a phone call and its like 8:30am. Im like if its one of my stupid friends, im going to drag them into a field and shoot them 5 times with a shotgun with salt rounds.

Nope, was a name ive always called before myself. This time calling me. Idk if hes the owner, employer or just manager but hes the guy that does the hiring for the gas rigs in this area. Told me he would be here in Cleburne monday and gave me a time to be there so i can fill out the paper work and all that jazz and discuss work for me. :jawdrop::lol: So right now, im pretty happy and i love this day. And im so excited i doubt ill get to bed for another like 3 hours rofl. So wish me luck for monday when i go in. I could really use the good job.

Update on situation here. I drove and wasted 1/4 tank of gas one way yesterday only to be told to come back tomorrow. Well its now tomorrow and i called him and he bumped the time up to about 2pm.

Heres the catcher though, my ****ing dad is placing bets with other family members of how long it will take before im in the hospital. I talked to the boss man yesterday and he said the job i would be doing is hard work yes, but the physical risk isnt involved like being a tool pusher (guy in the crew that puts them up and tears them down). The risk i have is cutting something off with a torch or getting blown to bits or dropping a pipe on me.

It rained. And rained this morning too. Im getting tired of being up at 8am :(

And i cant drive my sisters truck in the rain becasue it has 2 bald tires in the back. It gets so squirly that the back end just might end up in the front if your not careful.
