Well I got lucky and my Dell 19 wide screen crapped out with in the Wal Mart Exchange period and I scored a Dell 22" 5ms 1680 X 1050 wide screen beauty.
Gotta tell you I'm lovin the extra real estate, I just wish they'd have stocked a 24" cause I'd have been all up on that!

Congrats! I just got a second 22 inch monitor, although it's not the best quality/brand its doing perfect for what I need it for, and suprisingly plays games good.

At 1680 X 1050 I'm not seeing any lag on my every day GPU the XFX 8800 GT Alpha Dog running at 625/900.
Crysis is running smooth Medium settings 2aa, haven't tried it any higher cause it looks good like that.
Those higher resolutions will drive a card though.

I can run it on high with a 8800 GT. Kinda dips in places but havent had it go under 25 FPS. Though i did OC the card when i play it. (see sig for OC)

Yeah, Dell monitors are great. I have a 20" though, a bit smaller, but I'm happy
